Manitou oils

Manitou lubricants are genuine oils, greases and other technical fluids designed for servicing Manitou equipment (telescopic handlers, loaders).

Genuine Manitou lubricants contain specially selected additive packages that provide the most effective lubrication, cooling and cleaning of internal components. The lubricants are specially formulated for Manitou equipment and protect components during operation under load.

Main groups of genuine Manitou lubricants

• engine oils — for engines;
• hydraulic oils — for hydraulic systems;
• transmission oils — for gearboxes and torque converters;
• axle oils, including systems with immersed brakes;
• greases for joints, pins and other lubrication points;
• coolants and other special service fluids.

Manitou recommends the regular use of genuine Manitou lubricants for servicing telescopic handlers.

• Compliance with engine requirements. Genuine engine oils are developed to meet engine manufacturers’ requirements and the relevant standards; Manitou separately emphasises protection against corrosion and contamination.

ISO VG 46, class HM hydraulic oils from other suppliers are not considered suitable for certain Manitou machines. This is especially important for telescopic handlers and other equipment, where the oil’s characteristics directly affect the operation of pumps, valves, gearboxes and seals.
